Toronto, ON (December 5th, 2012) - The Women’s Executive Network (WXN) announced Emilie Cushman as one of Canada’s most powerful women in the TELUS Future Leaders category due to her accomplishments with social activism with SIFE Windsor and as CEO of Kira Talent.
Kira Talent is a Toronto-based start-up that provides a video interviewing screening solution to organizations that helps to streamline and improve the interviewing process. Employers are able to record video questions and send them to candidates who can then provide video responses. The solution provides better quality insights to interviewers earlier in the process, allows for better collaboration within the hiring team, and savings organizations time and resources.

Nominees must be 30 years of age or younger (as of December 31, 2011) and may be from any professional background or discipline.
Kira Talent has recently closed a seed capital round with prominent Canadian investors, which will allow the company to scale to 10 employees by January as it looks to expand its client base across North America. Emilie along with co-founder and CTO Konrad Listwan-Ciesielski are some of the youngest Canadians to receive venture funding.
